This is the first stage of a three-stage English course for children. Each stage of the course has a student's book, a workbook and a set of two cassettes. The course is accompanied by an optional primary video, "Cuckoo", which has a syllabus link with "English Together". The key feature of the book is the partner activities and the course encourages co-operation rather than competition. This is reflected in the activities, games, rhymes and songs included in the course.
